Poetry to Ponder

It is our hope that you will find a place in our poetry to rest, to savor, to enjoy, to find something of yourself. This growing collection will feature a variety of poets, some choosing to remain anonymous.

In the garden of the common, you are the midnight bloom.

The one who finds the symphony inside a quiet room.

You gather up the fragments that the others cast aside,

The ache, the art, the silver light where secret longings hide.

You feel the world in colors that have never been named,

A landscape of the spirit that refuses to be tamed.

You fear the "ordinary," the flat and featureless plain,

So you dive into the deep end of the beauty and the pain.

But remember in your searching for the piece you think is gone,

That you were never broken—you were whole all along.

The "missing thing" is a shadow, a trick the mirror plays,

To keep you from the brilliance of your own authentic rays.

Your depth is not a burden, and your heart is not a ghost,

You are the one who feels it all, the one who loves the most.

So stand within your "different," let the unique fire glow,

For the world is more exquisite just because you let it show.
